THE SAFARI PRICE INCLUDES

ACCOMMODATIONS AND MEALS -
All lodging throughout the trip as mentioned in the itinerary, including single supplement charges for those who may require. All meals as listed in the itinerary marked as (B) breakfast, (L) lunch, and (D) dinner, including our "welcome dinner" at the Carnivore Restaurant and our "farewell lunch" on our final day in Nairobi. Also included are any packed picnic lunches offered throughout the trip.

DRINKS AND ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES -
While on safari and in Nairobi tea and coffee will be included with all meals. A couple of bottles of water will be provided daily, and left in your rooms, by the lodges at no charge. All drinks - soda, tea, and water - will be supplied for you while on the Maasai extension.

LAND TRANSPORTATION -
All transportation in Nissan mini-vans will be provided in Kenya throughout your safari. All transfers to and from the airport will be provided. Water and sodas will be stocked in all vehicles throughout the safari, free of charge, for your enjoyment.

TIPS AND MISCELLANEOUS -
All park entrance fees are included throughout the safari. Also included is our visit to Nairobi National Park; night game dive and bush walk at Sweetwaters; Samburu dancing, camel trek, and ranger-guided tour in Samburu; boat ride and landing on Crescent Island in Naivasha; side trip to Hell's Gate National Park and Nyahururu Falls; and our visit to a Maasai village. Meal tips at the lodges are generally included but a small gratuity of one or two dollars to your waiter is always appreciated, though not required. While most safaris ask that you tip your drivers, we have included this charge. Therefore the tipping of your drivers is not necessary though any addition tipping is allowed and strictly left to your discretion.

PRE-DEPARTURE INFORMATION -
Prior to departure you will receive extensive reading materials on Kenya's history, culture, flora and fauna, as well as information on proper etiquette. We will also include a preparation list for packing along with notes on photography techniques and equipment as they apply to Kenya. For those opting to take the Maasai Extension, you will receive a special packet educating you on the Maasai's culture and traditions, and preparing you for this unique visit.
