"On first approach, we thought we were simply looking at three young cubs lying in the security of the tall grass. Upon closer inspection, simplicity turned to fascination in the reality of their feeding on a kill of young zebra. Barely recognizable by this point, the prey was being methodically stripped of its identity with every swipe of the cubs' sandpaper-like tongues. Skinned to muscle and tissue, each retreated, having had its fill, until one remained - licking."
