FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHIC PRINTS

Print Process (Color)
All of our fine art color photographic prints are produced using the latest digital technologies to create the highest quality reproductions possible. The process begins by making a high-resolution drum scan of the original transparency. From that scan, a Lightjet Laser Printer is used in conjunction with Fuji Crystal Archive Paper to complete the print. The final outcome is a beautiful piece of art with a longevity rating of at least 70 years that will compliment and enhance any home, office, or collection!

  • The above process applies to all print sizes 11x14 and larger. For 8x10 prints, no scan is necessary and a Frontier Laser Printer is used in the place of the Lightjet, though Fuji Crystal Archive Paper remains the standard.

Print Process (B&W)
All of our fine art black and white prints are hand crafted in the darkroom by the artist herself, using traditional printing techniques. By choosing to personally produce these works of art, it is guaranteed that the final image will be a true reflection of the overall vision that drew her to create the image in the first place.

Each print is produced using only high quality double weight fiber-based paper. This heavy exhibition-quality paper displays a rich tonal range and is the archival standard, resulting in prints with a longevity rating of 50 years plus. These beautiful works of art are timeless in their appeal and will add to the beauty of any home, office, or collection!

My Goal
I take great pride in my job and my art, and for that reason I want you to be able to take the same pride in displaying and viewing your investment. To meet that end, it is my goal and commitment to you that each print be a faithful representation of the original, not to be passed on to you before meeting my own stringent inspection. And keep in mind that although I have attempted to remain as faithful as possible in the representations presented for viewing on the web, today's processes simply cannot convey the true tonal range, sharpness, and overall caliber of the original image. Therefore, you can expect your print to be of far greater quality than that which you view on this site.

Open-End Prints
These prints apply to all images on the site, both color and black and white (except where otherwise noted), and are open-ended with no restrictions placed on the number of reproductions produced throughout its run. They are available as prints only or mounted and matted. Mats are of archival quality, using 4-ply rag board for the window, which is guaranteed not to yellow with age. All mat colors are of neutral shades, and each is signed and dated by the artist on the lower right corner of the board just under the print. Prints without mats are also signed and dated by the artist, on the lower right corner of the outside border to the image itself.

The images represented for sale on the site constitute only a small amount of the images contained within my personal files. Please don't hesitate to contact us should you have a particular image in mind that you may not initially see. We will be happy to let you know if we have something that may fit your needs!

Limited Edition Prints
These prints are reserved for specially selected images, which will be noted on the site, and are limited to a select number of reproductions to total no more that 150 in a series regardless of the size selected. Once the maximum number has been reached, that image is then retired and will never again be reproduced as a photographic print for sale. This means that each print truly is a work of art, and an investment that once retired is sure to increase in value.

Limited edition prints are available mounted and matted only. Again all matting is done using only the highest quality materials available. Each window mat is constructed of 4-ply rag board guaranteed not to yellow or deteriorate with age, and is signed, dated, and edition numbered by the artist in the lower right corner of the board, just below the print. A Certificate of Authenticity verifying photographer's name, print details, and edition limit and number accompanies every limited edition print ordered. This certificate information will also be kept in Natures Album's database in case of theft or fraud.
